Bateman Commits to Powerhouse Squad, Kankakee

The Ontario Nationals are proud to announce their sixth commitment of the 2021 class, Catcher, Lucas Bateman. Bateman joins the 2017 National Champions, Kankakee Community College Cavaliers. The Cavaliers compete in the NJCAA DII.

Bateman brings an intensity to the field that plays at any level. He is a fierce competitor, with tons of power at the plate and leadership behind it.  Bateman is most excited to join a program with such a reputable history of winning and developing great ball players.  He also is looking forward to getting the opportunity to play under Hall of Fame coach, Todd Post.  

The Nationals are confident that Bateman can contribute to an already polished Cavalier squad.
