Cottenie Commits to Cayuga
The Ontario Nationals are pleased to announce the commitment of Jackson Cottenie to Cayuga Community College (NJCAA D3).
Jackson’s journey with the Nationals has been defined by growth, hard work, and strong relationships. “During my time with the Nats, I have received more support on and off the field than I could’ve ever asked for. It has made me not only a better baseball player but a better person as well. The coaches that gave their time and knowledge have been a huge part of my development as the pitcher I am today. The friendships and memories I have made with my teammates are ones that will last a lifetime. Couldn’t have asked for better coaches and teammates throughout my time with the Nationals organization.”
The experiences and guidance he received with the program helped Jackson develop both his skills and his character, while the friendships and memories he made will last long after the final out.
Looking ahead, Jackson is excited to continue his growth at the collegiate level. “I chose Cayuga CC because it was the perfect fit for me. The supportive, uplifting culture and focus on development is exactly what I need to take my game to the next level. I am most excited to compete at a level that so few get to experience and put my absolute best out there on that field every day.”
We’re proud of Jackson’s dedication, growth, and hard work, and we look forward to watching him thrive in the next chapter of his baseball journey.
