Kints Commits to College of the Desert

The Ontario Nationals are proud to announce their fourth commitment from the 2021 class, RHP Dylan Kints, from Exeter, Ontario. Kints has committed to the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California. College of the Desert competes in the CCCAA.

Kints, a veteran of the program, has worked hard for this opportunity. "The scholarship means a lot to me.  Coming from a small town, there aren't many opportunities like this for ball players. It also means a lot to me after the car accident in December. It was a long road back and it feels great to be rewarded for the hard work I put in on the diamond," Kints said.

When asked about what he is looking forward to about his new school, Kints said "the warm weather and the coaching staff.  I've always wanted to live in California and now I can live and play ball there. The coaching staff has tons of pro experience and they all seem like great guys who expect the best from their players. I feel they are relatable to two coaches from the Nationals, Jeremy and Ben. They have a true caring for their players and I can't thank those two enough, as well as the rest of the Nationals staff, for helping me achieve my goal of playing college ball."
