Leuszler Commits to USC Salkehatchie
The Ontario Nationals are pleased to announce Cole Leuszler’s commitment to the USC Salkehatchie (NJCAA I). Leuszler, a first baseman from Sweaburg, ON, joined the Nationals in September 2019 and has progressed with the organization since.
Cole chose to join the Nationals to push himself as a player and compete at a high level. “I wanted to play competitive baseball and make myself a better player and stand out,” he shared. Since joining, Cole has worked hard to hone his skills and become a reliable teammate.
For Cole, the best part of baseball is the relationships built on and off the field. “Teammates,” he answered simply when asked what he loves most about the game. This focus on teamwork and camaraderie has made Cole a valued presence on every team he’s played for.
Described by others as hardworking and determined, Cole is known for his commitment to personal growth and his ability to motivate those around him.
Cole was drawn to USC Salkehatchie thanks to Jeremy Jayaweera’s encouragement and the program’s emphasis on helping players succeed on and off the field. He’s eager to make the most of this opportunity to advance his baseball career and build a strong foundation for his future.
As Cole Leuszler prepares for this next chapter at USC Salkehatchie, the Ontario Nationals extend their congratulations and best wishes for his continued success.
