Moore commits to Johnson County CC

18U right-hander Bennett Moore has announced his commitment to Johnson County Community College (Overland Park, Kansas), the 9th ranked team in the country prior to the JUCO shut down.

Johnson County competes in the competitive KJCC Conference at the NJCAA DI level and finished the year with a record of 20-3, outscoring opponents 256-83.

The 6-foot-6, 185-pound pitcher was one of the top uncommitted pitchers in the province according to Prep Baseball Report and will now join his teammate, Justin McLean, in the KJCCC as McLean heads off to Allen Community College.

Moore will also face off against former Nationals pitcher, Owen Mitchell, who will be in his sophomore year with the Garden City Broncbusters.

The Cavaliers have put together some impressive rosters over the years which has allowed them to move dozens of players onto four year schools each year, including ten NCAA DI commits in 2019 as well as 12 players drafted or signed by MLB organizations since 2010.
