Rollings Commits to Pratt CC
The Ontario Nationals Baseball Club is pleased to announce that Chase Rollings, an Infielder hailing from London, Ontario, has committed to furthering his baseball career at Pratt Community College (NJCAA D1) in Kansas.
Rollings' affiliation with the Nationals dates back to 2021, with this year marking his third season with the organization. Reflecting on his experience, Rollings shares, "Every coach and player have been extremely welcoming since I joined the program. I have built lifelong relationships with many people in the organization, and I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without these strong relationships."
For Rollings, the decision to join the Nationals was a pivotal one. He recalls, "I joined the Nationals for my 16U season. After meeting with Jeremy and learning about the program, I knew this was where I wanted to play. Jeremy, as well as all the other coaches, care a lot about the program and want what’s best for their players. This is why I wanted to join the Nationals."
When it comes to baseball, the essence of team dynamics is what resonates most with Rollings. He finds joy in the camaraderie shared with his teammates both on and off the field. "What I love most about baseball is the team aspect. I enjoy spending time with my teammates on and off the field. The tournaments, road trips, quality baseball, and sense of brotherhood are other reasons why I love this game."
In the eyes of those who know him best, Rollings is described as outgoing, hardworking, dedicated, and a strong team player. His competitive spirit and desire to win shine through in his every endeavor.
The choice of Pratt CC in Kansas was a strategic one for Rollings. He points to the academic focus, school size, and a storied baseball program known for player development as deciding factors. Looking ahead, he eagerly anticipates meeting his new coaches and teammates, and embracing the challenges and opportunities that college-level baseball promises.
Rollings extends his heartfelt gratitude to the entire Nationals organization, Phil Jankulovski, his parents, family, friends, and all the teammates and coaches who have supported him throughout his journey. The Nationals celebrate Rollings' commitment to Pratt CC and eagerly look forward to witnessing his continued success on and off the field.
