STRONKS COMMITS TO PRATT

The Ontario Nationals are pleased to announce the commitment of KJ Stronks to Pratt Community College (NJCAA D1).

KJ’s time with the Nationals has been a transformative experience, helping him grow not only as a pitcher but as a person. “Being part of the Ontario Nationals Baseball program has played a huge role in my development as a pitcher and as a person. The coaching staff helped me improve all parts of my game. They continuously worked with me on my mechanics, velocity, command, and my mental game on the mound. They stressed the importance of being prepared, focusing on the details, and competing with confidence every time I pitch.”

Beyond the development on the field, KJ has built strong relationships that have made his experience unforgettable. “My coaches and teammates have made my five-year experience being a member of the Nationals extremely enjoyable both on and off the field. I am incredibly grateful for their support.”

Looking forward, KJ is excited to take the next step at Pratt. “I chose to commit to Pratt Community College, in Kansas, because it felt like the right fit both academically and athletically. I was drawn to the academic opportunities and the vision the coaching staff has for their baseball program. From the first conversations, I felt welcomed and believed in. Pratt provides an opportunity for me to continue competing at a high level while pursuing my academic goals in Sports Sciences.”
