That's a Wrap on Fall Ball

Our fall ball season has come to an end for all teams. We could not be so proud of all our teams and we look forward to the next phase of our development.

Let's take a closer look at how our teams did this fall.

After a tough year at the 14u level last season; the boys were eager and more than ready to begin the new season. Our 14u ball club played 10 games going .500 plus practicing twice a week to improve their skills that really showed day in and day out.  With a bunch of brand new faces and a new coaching staff; we believe 14u is ready for the next phase of their development and excited to get back to work.

Our 15u ball club was really unlucky with the fall weather. They ended up getting in about 10 games as well going .500. We have coach Mike Zuk at the helm who led the 16u team last year one game short of a CPBL championship. With the depth on the mound and at the plate we look forward to the strength phase for this group as they begin their long journey to get back on top.

Our 16u ball club went above and beyond expectations this fall. With the addition of a couple key pieces, they look to get over the hurdle of a semi final birth from last years CPBL championship. This team can run, pitch and most importantly play solid defense. They went 12-2 this fall and we expect nothing less once the season begins next May.

Finally, our 18u ball club travelled far and wide during the fall. Playing teams such as Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Toledo, St. Clair, Jackson, Fanshawe and list goes on and on; the experiences can never be replaced. They finished their college tour by heading to Georgia for the prestigious Perfect Game WWBA National Qualifier. Finishing 1-3 at the event, the team played well all weekend and it could of went either way. This group is very special and we hope they head into the strength phase with as much passion as they show on the field.

We want to thank all the families for their dedication and support thus far; it is just the beginning of what we believe will be a successful season. Please follow us on twitter, instagram and facebook and keep up with our winter training.
